Two individuals experience gunshot wounds in distinct incidents over the weekend in southwest Atlanta

In the past 24 hours, Atlanta has been shaken by two separate shooting incidents. On Sunday at approximately 1 a.m., a shooting occurred at 415 Fairburn Rd. SW, followed by another incident at 315 Hills Ave. SW on Saturday at approximately 9:40 p.m.

At 415 Fairburn Rd. SW, a verbal dispute seems to have escalated into violence. The suspect in the shooting, identified as Thaddeus Cullins, a 23-year-old man, has been taken into custody by the police. The incident resulted in a 26-year-old man being injured with a gunshot wound. Remarkably, the injured man was conscious at the time of the police's arrival.

The police found the injured man and transported him to the hospital for treatment. The investigation into the shooting at 415 Fairburn Rd. SW is ongoing.

In a separate incident at 315 Hills Ave. SW, another shooting occurred, resulting in a 60-year-old man being injured with a gunshot wound. The injured man was also conscious and breathing at the time of the police's arrival. The police found the injured man and transported him to the hospital. The shooting incident at 315 Hills Ave. SW is currently under investigation.
